Christopher Glass & Aluminum, Inc. was selected to be the turn-key contractor on this $35 Million-dollar project, which includes the removal and replacement of existing facades on all elevations of the building. The project started in 2015 with a 2020 completion date. Each phase of the project is progressing on schedule and is due to be completed on time and within budget.

The project consists of the removal of the 15-story existing brick and concrete fins; and installation of a modern glass curtain wall window system, roofing, lightning protection, and interior finishes. All of the work during this 5-year project is being conducted while the Hospital remains n full operation, 24-hours/day.

Christopher Glass & Aluminum, Inc. is providing all features of scope including demolition, curtain wall, metal panel wall, structure analysis, crane activities, activity hazard analysis (AHA), shop drawings, calculations, electrical, public canopies, inside finishes, infection disease control measures, meetings, daily office personnel, and supervision. 

This project requires working daily with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACOE), the United States Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), and J and J Worldwide Services, a major Department of Defense contractor with projects worldwide.
